While the global level of HIV and AIDS cases have increased the number of patients in Sri Lanka too have increased in 2010,according to health statistics.
In 2009 only a little over 300 cases were reported but it had increased to over 1300 in 2010,it noted.
Public are advised to exercise caution ,especially the youth and middle aged when indulging in sex activities with unknown persons.
